Launcher error - xplane

I cant get the launcher to install the x-plane 11 pilot client. It installed the MSFS client with no issues, but the xplane one gives me "Installation failed: Compatible x-plane installation not found"

The website seems to suggest setting the path in Settings, but settings only has sound settings, no option for pathways.

What am I missing?

    I am actually having this same issue!

    The support forum says to click settings and point the launcher to your xplane.exe but I do not see a place for me to direct the launcher to said file.
