RWY 25L/R OR RWY 07L/R IN USE Arrivals from the North Join Brussels CTR via ME and proceed to PU. Traffic shall remain RIGHT of motorway E19 and enter the aerodrome traffic circuit according to ATC instructions. Arrivals from the South Join Brussels CTR via WA or LO and proceed to ZB, NO next. Traffic shall remain RIGHT of motorways E411/R0, and enter the aerodrome traffic circuit according to ATC instructions. RWY 01 (ARR) AND 07L/R (DEP) OR RWY 01/19 IN USE Arrivals from the West Join Brussels CTR via TE and proceed to GB, AT and CA next. Traffic shall remain RIGHT of motorway E40 and enter the aerodrome traffic circuit according to ATC instructions. Arrivals from the East Join Brussels CTR via HO and proceed to BE, NO next. Traffic shall remain RIGHT of motorway E40, and enter the aerodrome traffic circuit according to ATC instructions. Pilots shall report over each reporting point.
  3. CPDLC Login. CPDLC LOGON: EBBR Taxi Procedures Aircraft requiring full length for departure shall advise GND at the latest when requesting taxi clearance. Arriving aircraft shall remain on TWR frequency until instructed to contact GND. Aircraft will be transferred to the appropriate TWR frequency to enter or cross an active runway. An explicit clearance to cross or enter any runway shall be issued by ATC. If no such clearance is received, pilots shall obtain it from ATC before crossing the relevant holding position marking. Runway Configuration 25L (Arrivals) / 25R (Departures) Departures originating from sector GND N will expect to depart from B1. Departures originating from sector GND S will expect to depart from W41 or W42. Clearance to cross RWY 01/19 at E4-F4, E5-F4 or E6-F5 may be given by GND. Aircraft arriving on RWY 25L and proceeding via E1 or E3 will receive clearance to cross RWY 01/19 from TWR. Runway Configuration 25L and 25R (Arrivals) / 19 and 25R (Departures) All departures for RWY 25R will expect to depart from B1. All departures for RWY 19 will expect to depart from E7. Visual circuit shall be flown at 1 500 FT AMSL MAX, unless otherwise instructed by ATC, or requested by the pilot.

Aircraft will request pushback once ready to do so from Ground. Single engine piston aircraft and smaller GA/business aircraft may not need pushback as can taxi straight off stand. Aircraft may be instructed to push back onto another stand if they have a slot to wait for so as not to obstruct the taxiway. In order to allow for another aircraft to taxi out or into an adjacent stand, aircraft may be instructed to carry out a ‘long push’ to abeam a specific stand.
  5. Overview. Brussels Airport (IATA: BRU, ICAO: EBBR) is an airport located on the north of Brussels city. Runway Use. Once on the stand, set the transponder code to 7000 before switching it off. Uncontrolled Operations. The following frequencies should be utilised only when POSCON ATC is offline. Missed Approaches as followed : 06 : rwy hdg till 7 nm dme GSY, then right turn GSY (3000ft - 185kts) 24 : rwy hdg till 6 nm dme GSY, then right turn GSY (3000ft - 185kts) IFR Inbound procedures Inbound Aircraft other than on Airways/Advisory Routes Aircraft wishing to enter the CTR/TMA under IFR direct from the FIR must observe the normal procedure for joining Controlled Airspace. VFR Inbound procedures Pilots inbound to Charleroi under VFR must contact Charleroi Approach Control prior to entering the CTR/TMA and may be required by ATC to route via the published Visual Reference Points. To RWY 06 Arrivals from the north Join Charleroi CTR via NW at 1 500 FT and proceed inbound NA. At NA, expect to enter left-hand pattern. Arrivals from the south Join Charleroi CTR via S at 2 000 FT and proceed inbound SA. Expect to enter right-hand pattern. To RWY 24 Arrivals from the north Join Charleroi CTR via N at 1 500 FT and proceed inbound NA. At NA, expect to enter right-hand pattern. Arrivals from the south Join Charleroi CTR via SE at 2 000 FT and proceed inbound SA. Expect to enter left-hand pattern. Pilots shall report over each reporting point. Note: Reporting points NE, E and SW can be used at ATC discretion.

In calm conditions, Runway 24 is the preferred runway if the tailwind component is less than 5kts and the runway surface is dry. When there is a strong crosswind, then the tail wind component should be calculated and the general trend should be assessed. Transponder Use on Ground. Once on the stand, set the transponder code to 7000 before switching it off. Ramps. North ramps are assigned for airlines such as Rayanair, Air Belgium, etc. South ramps are assigned for General aviation. Uncontrolled Operations.
