On VATSIM, if you are part of VATUK, you are required to hold an S2 (Tower rating) and because of the military control complexities, you are required to complete a moodle course to learn the correct procedures.

@Andrew will the voice co-ordination be like the VCCS system in use with euroscope? also, will there be any compatibility with vStrips, as it's really good as an aerodrome controller to be able to use the procedures real-world use. I would be happy to message you if you need any clarity.

Seb EGLF!!!! love the complexity of UK airspace, and definately agree with @aeroniemi that Aerodrome control is where it's at! (I prefer tower personally) any aircraft relly, but military and any heli's/GA is my favourite really, just more fun to fly!

My assumption would be that like VATUK, you can control them, but also like VATUK, there has to be a catch, most likely a military course, with some 1-1 just to make sure it has been learnt.

so like VATUK, moodle is still part of the system, but how will your 1-1 training be faster? will there be a rating transfer system?
