Hello Andrew, Tower view will be available also for X-plane 10/11 users? This option wasn't available on IVAO/VATSIM with this simulators.

Hello, I'm not a staff or a developer, but I'm sure that POSCON will provide for the development about a system of models for the traffic for FSX/P3D and also for X-plane Families. I saw this news inside Facebook and also inside this forum. I will give you a link, but if you will try to search inside dtjis forum "model traffic", "AI traffic", or "AI models" you will find more informations.
I really hope that every news about this network will became a concrete reality. Because I saw a lot of amazing improvements that aren't available inside any flight simulation network (such VATSIM or IVAO)

The way I see it, there are several questions that need fulfilling:
- Would having additional entities/nodes passing through the POSCON server have a significant overhead
- How detailed would you need animations? To me, having the jetway connect and have ground crew just spawn in and out, is enough to make it plausible

I think that's a more logical way to go about it. Simply saying "we don't need it" is exactly the attitude that stunts progress, which is not what POSCON is about.
About bird strikes I don't think because POSCON seems that want apply the same(and appropriate) policy for emergency that is currently applied on VATSIM (ATC can refuse or interrupt an emergency), but an animation at the gate with every engine that isn't active and beacon off, and parking brakes on for ground services seems a great idea. I hope that this element will be applied, if not immediately, maybe in the future.

I can agree for some elements about the idea to create some awards, but I think that these awards should be assigned only for these users that doesn't fly or make ATC services only with the target to get an award, but with a real spirit to participate to any aspect of the network.
A great idea could be also to create some awards for virtual airlines and division, something such most busiest airport of week/month/year, most active facility TWR/APP/CTR of the week/month/year, most professional airline of division (average of pilot rating for any official airline) most active airline of division for month/year.
Some of these awards developed for division and airlines could be assigned also to every single pilot that has give a contribution to get the division/airline award.
With some awards that can be assigned only if you cooperate with other users, it's possible create a real group spirit inside virtual airlines and divisions.

I'm the CEO of vAZA and the PR of vAAL,two virtual airlines that are operative with the same system of vRYR and vEZY, vAMSYS. I think that when a virtual airline have an appropriate level of popularity, the staff team can try without problem to operate over more network. About my airline I think that POSCON could be a great opportunity for my VA, so when POSCON will became operative, vAZA will support POSCON and the same for vAAL. There is also a benefit for these VA's: they can try to find more users inside more platforms, and increase the number of active users.

I'm not a staff member of POSCON, but if you look some photo's of flight sim expo POSCON stand or inside POSCON website, HF and also UHF (used by military) will be available inside POSCON.
And onestly, I can agree for some elements that a unique format for division websites can help newbie users or foreign pilots, but if you look the procedures of any AIP, you will find some differences between every nation. This could be a problem. But after all, any singular airport TWR can be managed with a great quickoverview system, and any CTR/APP can be managed without problems if you have a SOP for that facility. About a uniformed style for every POSCON website we need a reply from someone of POSCON staff team.

Comunque, sto scrivendo questo topic per chiedere quanti di voi sono disponibili da Settembre ad eventualmente collaborare per lo sviluppo di SOP per gli ATC della futura divisione Italiana di POSCON: avendo visto che pare che l'HQ di POSCON accetti le iniziative degli utenti per aiutare il network allo sviluppo delle future divisioni, vorrei sapere se ci sono altre persone che in Italia sono eventualmente interessate a collaborare per lo sviluppo di tali documenti.
Sarò in vacanza fino al 26 agosto, ma comunque un occhiata ogni tanto al forum dovrei riuscire a darla.
Non nego che mi fa piacere vedere una buona parte dei membri attivi della community italiana di VATSIM: mi è dispiaciuto molto che l'offerta di POSCON per uno sviluppo congiunto del network al loro BOG sia stata rifiutata. Io spero che se POSCON effettuerà veramente quei miglioramenti tecnologici all'interno della comunità del volo simulato, che questo network possa realmente prendere piede.

In Italy, ATIS is available only with VHF frequencies, only for Milano Malpensa-LIMC and Roma Fiumicino-LIRF have departure ATIS and also arrival ATIS. I hope that will be developed also an ATIS with vocal (on radio) system.
Will be developed also the VOLMETS?

Buongiorno a tutta la community di POSCON Italia. Finalmente anche io sono registrato a questo nuovo network, che da quando ho potuto vedere grazie ai video e foto pubblicati dalla loro pagina Facebook, sembra voler rendere la simulazione aerea realistica in ogni minimo dettaglio. Per il momento sono in vacanza, ma non escludo di poter dare una mano da Settembre per quel che riguarda lo sviluppo della futura divisione italiana di POSCON...

Ciao a tutti, stavo pensando ad una cosa, forse anche un pò troppo presto, visti i tempi, ma quando il sito della divisione Italiana sarà pronto, siccome in ogni caso alcuni scali saranno sempre di un certo spessore per determinate FIR/UIR, oltre ad una guida bilingue per spiegare come funzioni il sito delle AIP Italiane, non sarebbe utilissimo comunque mettere sul sito, a priori, il pacchetto carte per gli scali principali Italiani, in modo tale da evitare ad eventuali utenti occasionali, di doversi registrare per forza al sito di ENAV se questi non vogliono avere accesso al cloud payware di Navigraph?
