As promised, here is the January 2019 POSCON development update:

I am pleased to announce that on Saturday, January 19th, we officially began Closed Beta testing. Our initial test consisted of a small group of pilots and controllers that signed onto the POSCON Network and conducted a scheduled test that lasted approximately two hours. The test was a huge success and we are very excited about the next one!

We plan on conducting at least 3-4 more scheduled tests before we expand our testing pool (i.e. add more people). We are not revealing a timeline of when this expansion may occur, so please do not ask. We are also no longer accepting any more testers or applications for testers.

That is all for now!

Please have a safe and enjoyable rest of your week.

I recently traveled to Asia and visited with members of the Hong Kong division (see pic below). We had a great discussion about the future of POSCON in Asia. I will periodically post updates of when I travel, please feel free to reach out to me and we can arrange meetings to discuss POSCON in detail!

Here are my 2019 summer travel destinations:

  • Amsterdam
  • Edinburgh
  • Shannon/Limerick
  • Zurich
  • Lisbon
  • Berlin
  • Bologna
  • Dubrovnik

Hi @Andrew Heath ! I'm happy that we are getting so close to the grand opening of POSCON, but I have some question reagrding the systems that we will find on the community servers. So, let's begin.

On the site, there are different things that you said you will offer us, like:

  1.  General Membership
  2.  Server Protocol
  3.  Voice Codec
  4.  Multiplayer Traffic Library
  5.  Network Platform Software
  6.  Interactive AI Drones
  7.  Member Ranking System
  8.  Incentivized Training Programs
  9.  Mobile Application
  10.  Free Hosting Services
  11.  FAA Affiliation
  12.  Shared Cockpit, Shared Radar
  13.  Network Pilot and ATC Scheduling
  14.  Automated Supervisor Functions

Are all of this things done now? Also, the Mobile app, will be on IOS?
