United Kingdom Division
In the Division, it is the responsibility of the Division Manager to appoint new members of staff. Often, there will be positions available for members of the Division to apply for. This means becoming a member of the Division Staff Team, and giving up your time to make the POSCON UK Division a better place for both pilots and controllers.
General Requirements
While each position has different responsibilities, they will all require the following;
- Attending regular meetings, both Divisional and Departmental.
- Must be a member of the United Kingdom Division.
- Upholding the Division's image and standards at all times, on all platforms.
- We ask of our staff members a minimum of 3 hours per week spent on their staff role, in addition to any controlling and/or flying that they perform.

- Volunteer position
- Appointed by the respective Division Manager
- There may be more than one ATC Instructor per Division
- There may only be one Lead per Division
- Reports to the respective Division Manager
- Works with the Division's ATC community to increase knowledge and awareness
- Stays up to date on regulation changes as they pertain to ATC operations within the Division
- Assists the Manager of ATC Training in developing and maintaining ATC CBT modules specific to the Division
- Assists the Division Manager in writing and maintain ATC SOPs
- Makes progress reports to the respective Division Manager when requested
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate initiative to work on Division projects
- Must have at least 3 years of flight simulation experience
- Must have sufficient time to dedicate to the position
- Should have real-world ATC experience
- Should have instructor/evaluator experience

- Volunteer position
- Appointed by the respective Division Manager
- There may be more than one Facility Data Specialist per Division
- There may only be one Lead per Division
- Reports to the respective Division Manager
- Coordinates with Manager of Facility Data to learn best practices and ensure consistent facility data in the Division
- Creates and maintains facility data within Division and Sub-Division
- Responds promptly to support issues as it relates to Facility Data
- Makes progress reports to the respective Division Manager when requested
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have intermediate knowledge of QGIS and geoJSON
- Must have knowledge of manipulating ATC sector data
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate independent initiative to work on departmental projects
- Must have at least 3 years of flight simulation experience
- Must have sufficient time to dedicate to the position

- Volunteer position
- Appointed by the respective Division Manager
- There may be more than one Events Coordinator per Division
- There may only be one Lead per Division
- Reports to the respective Division Manager
- Oversees the smooth planning and execution of all Division events with the goal of increasing participation for each new event
- Coordinates with Manager of Events for scheduling and standardization
- Seeks feedback about Division based events and gathers data for future planning purposes
- Works closely with adjacent Divisions to coordinate events
- Makes progress reports to the respective Division Manager when requested
- Operates the Division social media accounts.
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have experience in creating marketing content such as videos, audio, web, etc.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must demonstrate initiative to work on Division projects
- Must have at least 3 years of flight simulation experience
- Must have sufficient time to dedicate to the position
