As Maher mentioned you can access the POSCON Launcher and follow the instructions to install it with your simulator, all 3 major simulators are accepted on the network.

If you need further assistance I encourage you to join our discord server. https://poscon.net/discord Members and staff can give quicker responses to any questions you have during the installation process.

    Hy, I'm newby.

The link for the document does not work.

Is the unique condition to speak with a ATC to sintonice his frequency? Must do it in the Web UI? When sintonice in my sim plane does not change in the Web UI.

    Hey Angel,
First off, welcome to POSCON! You will enjoy it here, recently the policies got migrated to a different category, here is the correct link: https://forums.poscon.net/docs/support/manuals/eram/general/

    Hope this helps,

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for 20 years and have made a career out of it. Currently I fly a 747 and would be happy to help. I can provide CPDLC interactions, HF communication procedures, proper phraseology, etc.

Please let me know if there's anything I can assist with.

Hello guys, I have performed yesterday a flight on POSCON with a new users which I had introduced to the network, and we had found this issue. We had perform a flight in LIRZ without ATC coverage and we saw that on map our flight plans wasn't correlated. When online, go on https://hq.poscon.net/pilots/client  visible on first photo, insert your callsign inside over the trasponder mode selector (standby-mode C), and then, go on ATC section, insert there the callsign, the departure fir (except United States, in that case use KUSA) and click to send. You will receive the squawk code in few seconds. Be sure that the squawk code number on the sim is the same which appear on web UI  If an ATC is online, you will recive the trasponder from the ATC. I will cover this evening Milano Radar, so if you would perform a flight there, you're welcome. Hope that can solve the problem. For us, it has worked (I use P3D and my friend has flew with XP11)

We had send our flight plans just few minutes before start our flights and already connected to the network, so if you send the flight plan only when already online or few days before the flight, this is irrelevant.

Alrighty, did you get everything figured out because from the looks of it everything looks good.

    Thanks,

I have been having this same issue for the last several flights.   I have my flight plan filled out by Simtoolkitpro and I change the time so that is at the time and hit submit and I get a plight plan pending activation.  I contact ATC and out in the code KUSA and my flight number FFT1136 and get my squawk code.  Enter in my squawk code and turn it to ta/ra for take off and take off, usually a little past the time on my flight plan.  I finish the flight and the flight plan is still pending activation.   What am I doing wrong, again?

Could be an issue with STKP, make sure you are setting your departure time within around 20 minutes of what you are actually planning on, that is my rule of thumb and I have never had an issue with it. If you do it too soon, it might not take it and think it is too late to activate,  id suggest just updating the time on the actual poscon website, and personally I do everything on the website and it works like a charm, try doing one entirely on the website, then proceed with trying to activate it again. That should work, if it does not, I suggest potentially reinstalling poscon, and making sure you are on the latest version. (current: beta v8)

Please reply here, or add me on discord: andreww#3207

Id love to help you in any way I can,

OK; No Worries,  I WILL give it a bash, and see how I go.

    Thank You Chris.

Hey I am just reading this now, make sure you are logging into the correct area as well, it will tell you where you need to log into after you submit your flightplan, right next to the communications and D-ATIS portion.
Please let us now if you have any other issues, and if you were able to fix it. ?

    Happy landings!

    Hello Maher

Yes, I do get the squawk after I logon to the respective FIR and will set it accordingly: Squawk mode C once I push back and I back to standby when at the destination's gate/stand.

The "mixed data" I see when I did two flights on the same calendar day. The log looks fine to me i.e. everything is in sequence, yet summary is origin of the day's first flight to destination of the day's second flight.

The "ZZZZ" I see when I got disconnected from the network during flight, so that makes sense.

Out of the 7 flights I completed, I only get "view flight" for one of them. No idea what is missing: Squawk is set and departure is within the 2h time-frame, in most cases -3/+10 minutes of filed time.

    Hello Nick!

I, along with some other people have experienced the same issues, I recommend the following things to ensure you will not see this error.

-Make sure you that your callsign in the flight plan is matched with your "LOGON" tab with the Web UI. This is very important because of POSCON's advanced system for flight tracking. The information is read when the transponder is squawking the corresponding code assigned to the callsign, and if you did not enter the right callsign on login, it will not be able to pull out a route or data because one did not technically exist in the eyes of the software.

-Ensure you are logging onto the correct area, this, like above is very important. I have often seen people put the airport code in which they are departing, for example: KDFW, this is not correct and the system *should* rebuke it. The correct entry would be KUSA. So please reference the codes corresponding to your departure area of flight.

    Happy landings!

  9. Hello @KSI

I am just rolling around to this now, but I see that your last question was asking about steam. Nobody has reported any issues from what I have heard yet, and my X-Plane runs off steam too. Steam is just a global shop for the game, the game files themselves are the exact same so nothing should be altering that, I recommend running the updater for X-Plane if you get any issues with this.

    Cheers

This is starting to look like debates when I was yunger.

When I joind military, I was trained to become air traffic controller, but I also learned a lot about systems in aiplanes.

There were really boring debates about automatics in airplanes.

When first Airbus airplanes started to fly, they were highly automated, somtehing that I really dislike.

I think that in case of any problems with computers, pilot should be able to have full control of airplane(not case with newer Airbus).

Here in Croatia we had one crash in 1976 cause by ATC error. There was mid-air collision of 2 airplanes naer Vebovec.

Today we can analyse this crash and say TCAS would prevent it, but we can't know that.

If you would have even 1 problem like TCAS sending signal to autopilot to turn to new heading, you would come on collision course with other airplane, which would cause chain reacion out of control of ATC, he would just sit and observe.

Understood, and good point. Flying an Airbus is basically flying a computer, Boeing takes a little more of actual pilot skills. haha

Any chance these could be supported? P3D now allows for the regular COM radios to reach these ranges.

I feel that this would be a case by case bases, their are many plugins that add a UHF/HF frequency tones to your simulator, just as it is in vatsim, if it is not an option on the actual client, I am sure there will be support from a third party plugin.
