Our ATC Client will be cross-platform. P3D/FSX Client will be available on Windows, with a UI that is cross-platform. X-Plane Client will be 100% cross-platform.

Cross-platform! I am somewhat aware of the way IVAC2 does it, maybe you could elaborate a bit more on PM about this. The plan now is to have a completely new format, but SCT2 will definitely get a division started and may act as an interim format during beta.

Text will be handled much differently on POSCON than it is handled on VATSIM. We will be allowing text, but it won't be "free-text" like VATSIM is. Our method will have structure to it. This will make it easier for both pilots and controllers to use without getting significantly distracted. In general, text will be STRONGLY discouraged though. We will attempt to get all users that are capable of using voice, to use voice through proper training.

I actually rather not reveal our master plan to how this will work, but pilot training has been well thought out and planned. A couple of things that I will reveal: There will be an entrance "evaluation". There will be a way that pilots are held accountable for blatant mistakes. There will be a "ranking" system. I want to keep this part of the project a little bit vague because it will separate us from other networks. It is extremely hard not to tell all the details because I am super excited about it.

Honestly we have not yet determined what the threshold will be for creating a division; however, here are some of our initial thoughts on how we figure that out: We will evaluate the popularity of a potential division versus the rest of the clubs in this forum. We will evaluate the availability of sector data and SOPs. If you have this type of info, you need to let us know! We will evaluate the amount of active and contributing members (volunteers that will help bring the division to life). Taking these points into account, we will determine which divisions we will support in beta. This decision will not come for quite some time so at this point, your best bet is to make sure all three of these points are satisfied.

There are actually more that haven't been ported from our original launch page DB. I am gonna take a look at doing that today.

How many people will start which division? You mean the network? There are already well over a thousand people signed up through our various points of registration. By the time we go into beta, we expect several thousand members due to our planned releases and marketing. How many of those people will actually participate in beta is a different question!

Hi! The great news is we were discussing this very topic at length prior to the holiday and we have come to some reasonable conclusions. I wont go in the great detail about what we are planning to do in the event that the plan changes, but here are some generic points: Voice coordination will be significantly easier and will become the primary means of coordinating. (No more need for chat boxes) All frequencies in a sector can be used, similar to PE but with some notable differences. Taking over a frequency from a previous controller will be much easier. It will not require disconnects. Local procedures or policies shouldn't be necessary.

Ok so we will wait until someone requests the Muscat/Oman Division.
