Policies

POSCON uses a bulletin system to disseminate generic and specific information to its users. Information contained in bulletins:

• May be temporary and/or time critical in nature, thus is separated from other policies and not immediately incorporated into the policy manual.
• Eventually will either be incorporated into policies or cancelled at the discretion of POSCON management.
• Must be treated a policy unless advised otherwise within the bulletin.
• May be used to explain a policy or procedure prior to implementation. 
• May provide additional background reference information that supplements a policy or procedure.
• May be used to clarify existing policies and/or procedures.
