  3. I think it will be ready at the beginning and if not, shortly after.
  4. @Marco Miazzi
  5. If the demand is strong enough, anything is possible. Not seeing the demand right now though.
  6. It is air that is bled off the compressor section of a jet engine prior to the hot section. Depending on the aircraft, it can be used for many different things. Here are some typical uses: Pressurization Engine starts Ice protection Environmental control (cabin heating)
  7. We can either define the primary connection as the person who receives or loses points, or tie the points to both pilots. The more I think about it, both would probably be better actually - choose your co-pilot wisely ?
  8. 1. No cooperation at this time, that ship has sailed. 2. No pilot ratings on POSCON - we don't believe they are needed as we have another system to determine pilot ability. 3. Yes, you will need smartcopilot or some other 3rd party add-on (for now). That last question about "how will this affect the rankings" is a very valid question and it is not something I actually thought of so thank you for bringing it to my attention. I think the rankings will apply to whoever is the "primary" pilot.
  9. @Javier Ybarra I am going to confirm that you will still need SmartCopilot (for now). We are just adding server-side support for the connections. ATC is a lot different though and will be a lot more robust.

  11. @Mytho Leal Hi, the only way we can keep track of the application is if you submit here: https://positive-control.breezy.hr/
  12. Thanks guys for offering to help out. We will definitely need translators in the future as we want to offer as many languages as possible on our Headquarters portal. We are not quite ready for the translations to begin though, but I will keep you all advised when we are! Thanks again.
  13. @Muhammad Abdullah Sure, once you are complete, transfer ownership to me.
  14. @Tim S I agree that innovation is the key here. I am a firm believer in breaking the norms of online flight simulation and busting through barriers that previously prevented many people from joining. There is clearly a market outside of the already established user bases, just look at these results from the 2018 Navigraph Survey. Innovation is the key, POSCON cannot simply be a VATSIM/IVAO version 2.0 and we have no intention of being that.
  15. Hi Rob, Going to answer your email soon. Thanks.
  16. No, there is no artificial voices.

  18. You can definitely start an Algerian Division, we are not saying you are not allowed to participate in the network! We are just not going to launch a VM in Africa, there is no need. Your pings should be okay with the node being where it currently is.
  19. Most of the Pacific is covered under Oakland ARTCC/FIR, so that would fall under the USA Division. Guam also would fall under the USA Division. Some of those FIRs could be combined, but we will probably keep them separate at first - do you have a specific one you are interested in @Robert Schumacher ?

  21. @asb726 You must be real-world guy, I have heard this before about the blue screen from a few guys! While I am not a real-world ATC, for me it really depends on my mood which brightness I roll with.
  22. Good morning all! Here is just a quick update on our progress since January: We launched a new marketing site! If you haven't seen it already, take a look at https://www.poscon.net . For now, we are consider this site a "launch page", but long term it will evolve into a landing page used for attracting prospective members to the network. When we launch, existing members will rarely visit this page since they will have a "portal" to access all the network features. A few notes about the marketing site: We are aware of some graphical errors on large monitors and are working to fix those errors. Expect the content to evolve over time, but the branding will remain the same for the foreseeable future. Pulling from internal recommendations from our established team, we expanded our closed beta team to over 65 testers. While no decision has been made yet in regards to further expansion, there is a pretty good possibility we will expand again in the near future. Both pilot and ATC development are making amazing headway! Expect a flood of previews to start showing up on social media in the near future. If you haven't liked/followed our pages, I strongly encourage you to do so as that is where a majority of our previews will be posted: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PosConNetwork/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/posconnetwork YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbCXFLEs2Upw2QCwUAfFIAw Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/posconnetwork Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/PosConNetwork/ Discord: https://poscon.net/discord A plan has been established for Open Beta, but we are not yet prepared to release all the details of that plan. The one thing I will say for certain is that the Open Beta will not be open 24/7. The reason for this is to ensure we always have network staff in place to handle the various issues that may arise during testing. There is definitely more I didn't mention, but I hope to make these posts a little more often now, so stay tuned for future updates. Have a pleasant weekend.
