  11. This is known issue with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and how it interacts with SimConnect (the API that feeds our software). Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about this issue until Microsoft/Asobo resolves the issue on their end with a patch. In order to verify that the error you are seeing is the same as the one described here, you must press Control + Shift + A and check the aircraft list to see if any aircraft are “Disabled”. If they are, then you have confirmed this bug. The only way to resolve it is to shutdown the FS2020 Pilot Client, restart, and reconnect to the network.
  12. No, but it can be fixed! This is an issue with FSX/P3D and FPS. In order to see smooth fluid movements, you need lock to a frame rate that your machine can maintain consistently. To fix this: Go to Options > Graphics > Display > Target Frame Rate Set to whatever your system can handle (typically below 60 FPS). If you desire to leave it at unlimited, then you will continue to see shutters when in close proximity to other aircraft and operating at high speeds.
  13. Go to your add-on aircraft folder and open up the ACF File using a text editor. Search for “ICAO” and you will locate the line: “P acf/_ICAO XXXX” where XXXX is the 4-character ICAO code for the aircraft. If the ICAO code is not valid or does not exist, make the appropriate changes and then save the file.
  14. In order to prevent this, simply disable the conflicting plugin using the plugin manager in the X-Plane plugin menu. This is further explained in the X-Plane Pilot Client Manual under the section “Conflicting Clients”.
  15. When our technical support team suspects you might have a network connectivity issues, we might ask you to run the program Wireshark which is free software available online. 16. The log files for our clients can be found in the following locations: X-Plane: Look for "log.txt" in the root directory of X-Plane (where the X-Plane.exe file is located). FSX/P3D/FS2020: In order to get the log for this client, you must press Control+Shift+C while the client is still running. Launcher: Look for log files in the ...AppData\Local\POSCON\Launcher folder. Make sure you grab the one for the right date, for example "log20210318.txt" corresponds to March 18th, 2021. Radar Client: Look for both "PositiveControlRadarClient_crash.dmp" and "PositiveControlRadarClient_crash_.txt" in your …AppData\Local\POSCON\Radar Client folder.
  17. Incoming server and alert messages can be viewed from the Master Toolbar > Messages There are different filters that can be applied to incoming messages. You can access these filters by clicking the "FILTER" button in the top-left hand corner of the window. This will open the Message Filter View: Info Messages - General information to the user Error Messages - More severe messages, when something is wrong and needs the user's immediate attention. H = Hide S = Show A = Alert (box) P = Play (sound) User Operations - Messages that are related to any kind of user operations (e.g. target is not tracked by you, flight plan editing messages, not logged in when using SI command). Client State - Radar client state changes (e.g. logging in to the network, role changed, downloading info). Track Handling - Flight plan track related (e.g. handoff request, unghost approved, OnStartTrack, OnCorrelateTrack). FP Handling - Flight plan related (e.g. CancelFlightPlan, UpdateFlightPlan with route, OnFlightPlanActivate) CPDLC - Related to CPDLC (e.g. session terminated, CPDLC session start, all CPDLC messages). Voice - Related to voice (e.g. voice connection is ready, voice connection reset, voice disconnected). Server Response - Messages coming from server immediately after issuing any command. When the server detect that user operation is not valid. Server Error - When the general OnAsyncException is called from server side.
  18. This error can be identified by the following error message: Navigate to the following directory on your PC: AppData\Local Locate the following text file: x-plane_install_11.txt Delete all entries except for the one that indicates the installation of X-Plane you plan to use. Save the modifications and restart everything.

  21. Download the POSCON Launcher Client. This software has three purposes: It is used to download and update client software, which is used to connect. It contains the voice software, which is used to talk to pilots and air traffic controllers. It keeps you authenticated. Because of the above purposes, the Launcher Client must remain running at all times. If the above link does not work or you need to get to the Launcher Client download again in the future, visit the POSCON HQ. You can either find the download in the "More Menu" and then click "Launcher Download" or the download icon in the top-right corner.
