 Share

Revision: 04 Mar 2022

Overview. Brussels South Airport (IATA: CRL, ICAO: EBCI) is an airport located on the north of Charleroi area - South of Brussels city.

Runway Use. In calm conditions, Runway 24 is the preferred runway if the tailwind component is less than 5kts and the runway surface is dry. When there is a strong crosswind, then the tail wind component should be calculated and the general trend should be assessed.

Transponder Use on Ground. Once on the stand, set the transponder code to 7000 before switching it off.

Ramps. North ramps are assigned for airlines such as Rayanair, Air Belgium, etc. South ramps are assigned for General aviation.
