I was wondering if POSCON ever thought of adding a follow me car to the network. P.S; Yes, I do know that POSCON has more important stuff to work on.

Last night I was flying with some friends and while approaching the destination airport my connection stoped working. After restablished connection I realized via Discord that my radios wasn't working. I was online but radios didn't work at all. I finished the flight offline and so far I don't know what happend. Do someone know what may have happened? And how I come back online with everything working fine?

I've had this curious matter of Oceanic flights in my head for a long time. I have not flown any trans-Atlantic flights in any flight simulator because I have no idea what to expect. I have watched some videos in the past, but I still don't get the way it works. How does it look from pilots' perspective? What do they need to learn more than regular pilots who don't fly Oceanic? For ATC, what are the procedures like and what makes Oceanic ATC different?

Hello all, I’m almost positive this is posted somewhere, but for brevity sake, I feel like it needs to be in this FAQ section. I’m interested in controlling and have some experience already on other networks. What is the process to becoming a controller for POSCON?

Hello I am a newbie pilot and I have have two questions. 1. I HATE flying modern aircraft but have a soft spot for old airliners like the 727 and I do a great deal of flying in them and no it isnot RNAV capable but It does have an INS (Inertial Navigation System) would it still be legal to fly with this aircraft on the network VOR to VOR? 2. Why can't I fly as a military aircraft if I follow the proper procedures form atc? Thanks and happy to be flying

Hi, I've got a beginner question: Can you – and should you – file a flight plan if you are only in Ghost mode? Reason for asking: I want to make things as realistic as possible while learning but I also don't want to unnecessarily bother ATC with flight plans that won't actually be flown in Live mode.

When ever I am flying a route in my zibo 738 on x-plane 11, I always wonder how they turn the plane from one airway to another without me noticing. I do not really understand how they do this because when I approach the next airway my autopilot decides to turn at a bank angle of 20 degrees which would not be very comfortable irl. Do pilots in real life just turn the plane really slowly?

G'day I have been trying to use POSCON's Flight Planning, but I keep on coming up with the issue of "Aircraft Identification" not accepting any ID into it and that includes there suggestions as RED Letters Keep telling me that "Callsign is invalid. Example: JAL65F, AAL123, AFR9"; and when I click on the Registration "Check this if Call-sign is Registration" the Aircraft Identification says in RED HV1234B is not valid. Every Time I Press it? Can someone Please Explain if I am doing something WRONG or What I am Missing here in the Flight Planning? Thank You Mal Brown

Hello! Knowing that things like TCAS advisories take priority over ATC and that (probably assuming too much here) pilots fly on autopilot most of the time, would it not be of use to connect the TCAS with the autopilot to execute a resolution instantly? Would it be safer or not? Are those systems connected already? If not, do you think it will ever happen? Lots of questions for my first post, so I'll stick with those to start! Thanks!

What would be a good way to decide what autobrake setting and reverse setting (as in idle rev or full rev) to the runway your gonna land at and where on the rwy you wanna vacate.

I fly online all the time, and whenever i file a flight plan (assuming it was sourced from flightaware or the preferred route database), after my clearance was given Exactly as i filed it, i read back the transponder code and my call sign. That’s it. I figure it saves a controller’s time. Is this correct? Do controllers online appreciate this or prefer a full readback?

Hi, I was recently on a flight in Australia, from Adelaide to Melbourne. It was a very hot day , and pretty turbulent during descent. Nothing really rough, just a bit bumpy. It was a very hot day, around 42 degrees Celsius in Adelaide and Melbourne. We flew a downwind leg past YMML, then base and final, and the whole time I was watching to see the flaps go down, but they never went past (I assume) flaps 2 setting, possibly even 1+F, but I would assume 2. Would this be because a higher landing speed was required due to the heat, or is there some other reason a flaps 2 setting would have been used? I have flown with the same airline, and others and this w…
