Dear POSCON, I have added a support request and asked a little on the Discord, but now I would like to ask here as well because this is beginning to bug me a bit. So, here is the deal. I log on with XP11, start a flight, open the POSCON launcher, log in to the network, get my squawk and begin my flight. After a while, I seem to get disconnected from the network. There is no real warning as the XP11 menu still seems to indicate I am logged in (I have log out as an option) and there are no messages in the message window indicating I have been logged out. Hi, I am running Two PC's networked together, one runs MSFS the other runs POSCON. I have Simconnect working as can be seen in the image. When I Launch the Poscon Client from the launcher I get the error in the image. Basically it says it can't find MSFS. The Top left window is the AI Traffic.exe which you run so you know simconnect is running. When I click Ok I then get image 2

Hi all, I made a trip earlier today from KBOS to KMIA via the Trips System & the live map showed me as taking 167 people. I landed in KMIA, parked up at the ramp & logged out. I expected to see a notification telling me that I had completed the trip. However, I didn't receive any notification & in my points, I didn't get the acknowledgement that I had completed a trip. It also looks like there is no record of the 167 people that flew & the number of pax waiting in KBOS to go to KMIA is still the same number before I made the trip. As a pilot and atc, i don't like using the standard unicom found in other clients, where you have to text. My suggestion is that in airports with no atc usually and which are flown to often or in events, that there is a CTAF (other wise known as unicom) freq with voice so that it is so realistic. I feel like there should be a normal unicom as-well but at specific airports add this Idea Thanks for the development, Best regards

So its currently 12:17am and ive just been thinking about some stuff and I was wondering for everyone on here who isnt REAL WORLD ATC I would like to ask a question. As its a hobby and different from the restrictions of real world ATC course's ect. How did you find it was better/easier to learn the knowledge you currently have? As an example I learn far better from observing/reading then writing then do it, so when I started I would watch/listen/read ATC or documents then write down the IFR/VFR clearences, phraseology ect, and would have little notes dotted about with the information on and as I got more and more confident my desk got cleaner hahaha. So a new month is here & we have a new set of airports & pairings to fly between. I have a couple of questions about them. 1. I notice that 10 airports have been retained from last month with 3 new additions from Brazil & 1 from Germany. Is this the way it is supposed to work? I expected fewer retentions & more newer airports. 2. Some of the airport pairings will be impossible to fly passengers to/from. SBSP (Congonhas) has 2 runways of length 1495 metres / 4905 feet & 1940 metres / 6364 feet respectively. But EDDM, EDDF & KSFO are on the list of its departure destinations. EDDM is also on the arrival list. I can't see any aircraft…

I don't know if this is non sequitor as I'm new to real time ATC but, can I file a flight plan but then chose to be in ghost mode to execute it? Or can I only be in ghost mode if I'm not flying? Sorry if this is obvious, but I guess the advantage is that I could be hearing ATC but not having the stress of trying to execute perfectly. Steve Clarke

After signing up to Poscon many months ago i could not get my head around how it all worked.After watching British Avgeeks Youtube post yesterday i decided to have another look.So today i am flying my first flight UTTT - UACC. I am now liking what i see and look forward to watching more Poscon related content from British Avgeek.

Hey guys was just wondering if a member wanted to have Sim View while on duty as ATC would this just be as simple as having the sim connected in Ghost mode or and I overlooking a lot of setting prior ? sorry if this has been asked or has been answered. Twice the connection drops and when I see the POSCON disconnected for a long time. And on FS2020 it was connected, once my ticket was canceled, how can I know in time when the Poscon system crashes? This is hurting me. There was this now with this 6 hour flight, and am I going to miss it??

Hello, One thing that should be added or might already be added is badges and tours in individual divisions like on IVAO, Badges could be achieved through completer tours which is a series of flights with a topic and or completing events 1. this would support being online more as getting more badges through tours gives a status 2. I also find that this will help differentiate the experienced pilots and atc to other pilots getting started Best regards, Feike. M

My last two flights have been in a Cirrus SR22TN. I wasn't able to get a squawk code for either one. The first time I logged in as airplane code S22T (the proper ICAO code for this aircraft) and I thought maybe that designation is not in the POSCON database, so today I entered as an SR22, which I chose from the dropdown. I never got a squawk code for either one. Is it something about the Cirrus, or is it just me being an old guy and missing something obvious? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello! Early today i tried to file a flightplan importing via simbrief using an registration starting with PS-, but i got a message indicating my registration not valid. I don't know if is a unknown issue or a mistake from myself. Recently, Brazil are able to register aircrafts with PS-, so we have PU-/PT-/PP-/PR- and PS- available for use. Cheers! ?

I cant file flight plan - even when i use the suggested airline call signs it says they are invalid. Also i tried for example SAS140 - still invalid. KLM575 - invalid... Very strange.

Hi all. I am new here and am trying to setup POSCON. I am all in Apple environment (no windows, dual-boot, VM, or Parallel) and when I try to download the POSCON launcher I was not able to find a MacOS version. Can someone confirm if POSCON is compatible with MacOS? Can I use Mac to simulate in POSCON as a pilot or as an ATC? Thanks in advance.
