How can I apply to become an ATC on poscon?

Hello! My flightplan is not showing on the live map after a coupe of hours but it is active. Is it a bug ? Greets

The X-Plane client takes over the radio channels completely when logged in, also when a radio is tuned to an ATIS frequency. As POSCON does not have active ATIS I would prefer the client mixes X-Plane radio channel voice with POSCON voice. I use ATIS regularly when arriving at an airport. Or is there a setting for it?

I was trying to setup my microphone for transmitting on the radios while flying. When I selected my device, I had an error message popup saying, unsupported device. Try and change sampling rate to 48khz. How do I fix this?

The latest POSCON plugin can not be closed correctly, when trying to close it, it hangs X-Plane. Closing the POSCON plugin is done by X-Plane itself when quitting X-Plane. Then X-Plane hangs as the POSCON plugin does not close correctly. Finally you need Task manager to close X-Pane. (The effect can also be seen when you try to disable the POSCON plugin from the plugin menu.) This means I removed the POSCON plugin and will only reinstall it when a new plugin is available which solves this issue.

The flightplan should allow "VFR" to be filled in at the Level field. Now it only accepts a set level (A or F) "VFR" is the official indication "for uncontrolled VFR flights" as indicated in the AIP ENR 1.10.3 Can this be corrected?

In RL aircraft you hear yourself speaking through the microphone when transmitting etc, the intercom arranges that. In X-Plane with the its POSCON client that is not the case, a very strange experience, not hearing yourself in the headset. Should I set something that I can hear myself in the headset when speaking?

Yesterday it was my first flight on the network with X-Plane and latest client (downloaded this week). When I wanted to check my voice by sending on COM1 and listening on COM2 at the same time, as suggested in one of the video's I saw, I heard a lot of garbled noise on COM2 when pressing the transmit button and seeing in the top left corner COM1. The garble had some relation with my speaking but could not be understood. Is there a better way to test it? What could be the problem?

i am very disappointed, becouse the Model Matching technique is the same as vpilot. I hoped we get a Technique like Ivao´s MTL library. But with that Model Matching Techniqu its very difficult to generate a good and error-free traffic. And now, since FLAI is gone and out of service, i am unable to get any Traffic in the Sim. FLAI was not perfect in Vatsim at all, but a best effort to got traffic. AIG Traffic is not so userfrendly to get it matched with an online network, and need a massiv workflow and -load. Hi, A completely new user here, never have used ATC online for various reasons. POSCON is looking like a fantastic design for new users, so very much looking forward to it. Current need is: I started the computer training module but my computer acted up midway. I want to revisit this module until I am comfortable with all of the material. I am not seeing how to access it on a repeated basis. I have seen a popup a couple of times, but that seems to have disappeared. Good day, just joined Poscon. Am a pilot and RL Capt for a big ME carrier, flyng since 1991. My goal is to do ATC, but am totally in the blind how to do this. Everything is setup for pilots. what do i do after the signup.

I've been a flight sim enthusiast for 20 years and have made a career out of it. Currently I fly a 747 and would be happy to help. I can provide CPDLC interactions, HF communication procedures, proper phraseology, etc. Please let me know if there's anything I can assist with. Andrew

Hi. Just joined the network and will really explore this as I think it can add some realism to my flight sim adventures. Is it possible to chose where the launcher gets installed? I absolutely dislike programs that doesn't give you any option to select an install directory.

My Sim loads on the start screen, and I come also in the Simulator, but after he searched updates, the sim loads in truly little steps. And when the balk is filled, he won't load and let me in the Main Menu of the Sim. Does anyone have an answer? P.S.: In the settings of my PC, I can fix the Sim, but that can't be the solution.... (I am playing MSFS with the Game Pass)

I'm not sure what to call it--as to whether it is a bug or an operator error, but I was attempting to fly MMCU to MMMZ, and the flight plan was successfully submitted. However, as following procedure, I logged on through Monterrey Center (MMTY), but I got the following message: Thinking I had made a mistake, I attempted to log in as Mexico FIR (MMEX), Mazatlan FIR (MMZT), Mazatlan Oceanic (MMFO), Merida FIR (MMID), and then with KUSA (just out of a wild guess). All of them, except for KUSA returned the same error code, while KUSA came back with "flight plan not held." Is there a different FIR that I should be logging on to? And, if that's the case, is…

With the release of the T-45, along with the included C-12 (King Air) and other military related aircraft, are we permitted to fly into and out of military airfields for pattern work, approach practice, cross county flights, etc? I know the Military Division is some time away and ultimately the VUSN.org would like to a part of it, several of us would like to begin general flights. If it is permitted, what callsign would you prefer we use, just N-numbers, Navy XX, VVyyxxx, or what?

Hello my friends from the community! Tonight I wanted to give a try to the Beechcraft B1900D (Carenado, Xplane 11) and did a double sector. I logged as UAL118 (I thought that UCA, CommutAir, was not in the database yet, but actually it was...) for the first flight, KALB-KLGA. Everything went smoothly. Hi all, Will POSCON provide a flat-file download (like the VATSIM data file) for those of us who rely it for up-to-date ATC data in their cockpits? Like a lot of Builders I've written my own software, some of which relies heavily on the VATSIM data file to get this info. Sure would hate to lose the functionality it enables. Thanks, Regards Ian
